While I'm in the bathroom, he falls off a stool, splits his lip, bloody nose, hysterially screaming.  He wouldn't let me touch or clean up his face for about 5 minutes.  There was blood everywhere on his clothes, floor, walls.  Looked like a damn masacre in here.   He and the floors are now pretty much cleaned up.  And he is off playing with his toys, so all is OK, but holy hell was that scary.  He's going to have one heck of a fat lip - it's already puffy and bruised.   Cannot be bothered with the booboobuddy.

And a question... it's ok for him to nap right?   Maybe I should just let him veg on the couch with a movie instead....?  Sorry if I'm being dramatic -usually I'm not - that was just very scary very quick.

Poor little guy.  If he's acting totally normal, a nap should be fine.  But if you're at all worried call the pedi for their opinion.

For a fat lip, popsicles help.

The mouth tends to bleed more then other injuries so it sounds like it looked worse then it actually was.  Scary though, esp when they fight you on getting it all taken care of.  I agree, if he is acting normal a nap is fine.

Thanks for the popcicle suggestion!  He's sitting contently eating one now and letting me clean up more of his nose. What a mess   It really looks bad.  I think he may even be getting a black eye. omg

I agree with the pp's.  Nap ok if he is acting fine and didn't lose consciousness during the incident.
