Poor DH, re-doing the nursery

With DD we didn't know who we were having and painted the nursery in neutral colors.  We have a chair rail and the top is a pale yellow and the bottom the same yellow with pale green stripes.  I just informed him that if we have another girl I want to re-paint the bedroom.  We moved into our house six months ago.

Oooppss- DH is not going to be a happy man!  Maybe you can just repaint the stripes and keep the yellow on top?  I like pink and yellow together. Or grey, yellow, and cream

You're lucky that your DH is willing to do it. Mine would just look at me like I had sprouted a second head :P

For real! My husband would just laugh. He would probably repaint it if the baby was a different sex than what we already had, but if it was the same, there's no way.

Your DH is so nice!  We are moving DS out of the nursery we set up for him, giving him a "big boy" room and using the nursery for the new baby.  The walls are red and beige, and I want to re-do the beige a pale yellow.  I'm having a heck of a time convincing DH to do it so I'm jealous!! Can I borrow your husband?
