Have any of you worn one while pregnant?

I'm suppose to get one put on after work today and I really don't want to.....I guess they are safe while pregnant though? My regular physician is the one having me do it and he knows I'm pregnant.

I wore one for three weeks a few years ago for my heart.

If you're really concerned, call your OB, but your GP won't do anything that will harm the baby.

I don't see how it would harm anything at all.  It just monitors your heart with electrodes that are placed at certain points externally.  Totally not a big deal.

I'm getting one put on tomorrow by my Cardiologist.  He knows I'm pregnant and my OB knows I'm getting the monitor.  They are trying to determine the cause of the tachycardias that I've been having the past two weeks.  I don't think there is any harm to the baby at all.  I'm not looking forward to wearing it, but it is worth it if they can determine why I'm having these issues.

I'm getting mine put on in about an hour. My heart seems to beat fast all the time. I was at my regular doctor talking to him about taking our baby for a patient and I had an episode so that's why he's doing it. I didn't see any harm but I was just curious to see if anyone was in the same situation. I'm not looking forward to not having a shower tonight! It will be worth it though and hopefully just be pregnancy related! Good luck with yours!

My OB sent me to a cardiologist with my DD b/c of rapid h/b with fluctuations and they put me on a monitor. Turns out the hormones caused a murmur which while annoying went away after I delivered. Then, it was actually the first thing that made me think this cycle worked. I was pg and I have the same weird h/b this time.

I get a holter monitor every two months - and have done so now twice during my pregnancy - no harm what so ever!  Just a little recording device for your heart!  Nothign worse then like carrying around an ipod on your hip - just REALLY ANNOYING!!!!!!!
