Text messaging with DH

I come home from running errands and one of our pipes connecting our sprinkler system had burst as was spewing water out all over the place.  I call DH and I'm panicking.  He tells me which pipes to close off, while the kids are locked in the car in the driveway (car is on).

So, water to the outside is off, he asks me how I'm doing and I tell him that I'm already done with Jonathan.  With his hitting Benjamin, mouthing off and just being, if he weren't a 3 year old, a jerk.

He texts me later: You'll make it through the day, you're a great mom.  The best I know.

I text him back:  HA!  I'll be drunk or medicated (or both) by the time you get home.

He sends me back: Making it through is making it through!

Love him.  And he knows I'm not joking, I may very well be lit when he walks through the door 7 hours from now.

  • We need a playdate, lady. Tell J that we will go to the bouncy place for Ms birthday celebration, but we won't take him unless he's good.

  • I would love to.  Seriously.

And I'm really done with him.  He's so sweet, but then has these moments of being a huge 3 year old (heh heh).

  • He and M can wear each other out trying to out-tantrum each other, then. LOL

That actually sounds like it would happen.  Next week?  I know it's late, but my parents are coming in tomorrow night, so I'm taking advantage and planning to do a bunch of solo things while they're here.

  • sounds good.

We are going to spend one night in  Williamsburg visiting some friends on Sunday night, and I need to set some photo appts some time next week, but for the most part the schedule is open.

Which bouncy place? Severna Park or Crofton?

  • I went to the one in Glen Burnie and hit the Millersville one last week.  And I still prefer the Columbia one over both, but the Millersville one is new (so cleaner) so let's go there.  Plus, it's close for both of us.

  • Do I have to make reservations? I didn't even know there was one in Millersville. That's cool.

  • No, it'll just be open play (if that's cool with you).  I'll send you the link, it's brand new.
