So my dad is that person who is IMPOSSIBLE to buy for..He has everything and is always buying himself random stuff.. He loves gadgets.. but he usually just buys them for himself.

I had the perfect gift picked out for him.. https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=16698091 .. He loves keeping track of the weather and its just gadgety enolugh. I went to get it yesterday and the store I was at  (McKinley) said they were out, but that they had them at the store by galleria, and maybe the other stores in the area too. So Dh called them all for me this morning and EVERYONE is out.  I honestly thought (and said this to the BB&B employee, that my dad was the only person in the whole world who would WANT that thing).. I had another idea for him too.. but then I told that idea to my mom and SHE got it for him! So now I'm at a total loss.

I have also been in search for an aunt/godmother ornament with no luck. Anyone see one anywhere? Hallmark had a godchild one, but i'd rather a godmother one. I went to Christmas Shoppe in Lackawanna on Friday and was quite disappointed in thier overall selection of ornaments.

That ones not bad. I liked the sharper image one cuz it had the color screen.. he already has a digital weather station thing like that (complete with stuff to measure wind, rainfall and a barometer in his backyard..) but not one that does forcasting. I wonder if they have that in store at best buy...since i'm out of time to order.

I know I've seen weather stations at local Bon Tons but not that same brand- they are either in the home gift accessories or men's gifts at McKinley.  I think Macy's has Sharper Image gifts too. 

My brother got my Dad a similar one from Brookstone a few years back, and I think he likes it.  I think those are a popular Dad gift

No help on the ornaments though- I don't really shop those or put them on my tree

Meg- Thanks.. I figured out how to use the best buy website and they have the one you posted at the Amherst Store. (of course the furthest one from me, but thats the story of my life) I think i'm gonna go get it.. Its not quite as cool as the sharper image one, but I think he'll like it..

I considered checking out brookstone.. but I just can't make myself go back to galleria.. LOL. I am just not up for hunting all over the place today.

Godmother and Great Grandmother ornaments pretty much don't exist from my shopping. I went through the entire McKinley mall last week and found nothing. You could always personalize a regular ornament. (They have that stand near Macys)

dad's are always hard to buy for! I just got off the phone w/ my mom trying to get an idea of what to buy mine!

I know you have posted in the past that you hate Kohls, BUT I saw them there last week, so you might want to check it out!
