Like Riviera's news today wasn't bad enough, I just got this email about a family in my playgroup.  Poor little baby is the same age as my baby Bri!!

As some of us know our member, Kristie Relyea. Kristie's 6 month old son William has been in the hospital for the last two weeks. He was diagnosed with stage 3 Neuroblastoma which is a rare form of cancer (with an intermediate risk factor) and a port has been placed with the intent of starting chemo. The tumor is too large to be removed and is incorporated into a number of major organs, blood vessels, nerves and around his vena cava to the heart.

Her neighbor and friend Robin Cox has started a raffle for a play station 3 on 1/10/2010 to help raise money. Tickets are $ 10 a piece and all money will be donated directly to the family to help with travel and medical expenses.

Seems to be a lot of heartache going around.  I'll keep William in my thoughts.

That is such awful news that no parent wants to hear - whether it's your own child or someone else's. William and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

That is so sad....M:: can you please send me a way to buy a ticket and let me know if they do any other fundraisers?
