DH got his christmas bonus friday then did some shopping. he told me he got me something and wanted to give it to me right away but i said to wait. we were actually on our way to my parents for dinner when he told me all of this and when we got there he droped me off, turned around, and drove home to get it- lol

in my little box was a beautiful diamond and emerald heart set in white gold with a white gold chain! emerald is michael's birthstone so this is my first piece of 'mom' jewelry!

not for Christmas but I did get an amethyst and diamond ring as my push present. (I wanted a gift before I ever heard the term).  someday I will pass the ring to ethan to give to his wife.  Then for mother's day I got a necklace from Red Envelope that symbolizes a mothers eternal embrace.  I love the necklace b/c you can't tell the it'sa mother holding her child. It's abstract.  There are some gifts under the tree that say from Ethan

Jeff got me a necklace last year with Eve's birthstone and diamonds. Its a heart of diamonds and then it has a larger heart shaped amethyst inside it..

 I am only getting ANY christmas presents this year from Eve or Jeff if DH wins his fantasy football playoff this week (looks like he will) because I am too cheap(and broke) to give him money to buy things for ME.. so he is gonna use money from that..

I got a necklace for mother's day. it's a silver necklace with 2 squares with DH and DS's names on them. You have to look closely to see the names, so you don't really know right away that it's supposed to be a mother's necklace.

Don't know if I'm getting anything from DH or DS this year. Unless DH slips out to do his usual Christmas Eve jaunt, that is.

I got a blue topaz and diamond ring when I had Eva.  DH had bought it to give to me on Christmas because Eva was supposed to have arrived by then but since she hadn't made her arrival yet, he wasn't sure what to do.  When we finished opening presents that year he told me had something from the baby but wasn't sure if he should give it to me or wait until she came.  Me being the present whore that I am opted to open it then and I wore it home from the hospital when Eva was born.
