Did you register for baby toys?

I put a Leap Frog musical table on there along with a few other little things.  I was just browsing on BRU and there are so many fun little toys out there!  Are toys one of those things people just buy, like clothes, or do you need to ask for specific things?

    I registered for a few toys, but I noticed that they go OOS pretty quickly.  Also we registered for more boy-colored toys than girl, the pink is just too much for us and if we have a boy next I'd rather have darker colored play mats and toys.

    I didn't register for any toys aside from a gym/playmat.  We got a few toys at our showers, like the little handheld infantino kind.  I'm going to wait on getting more toys until the baby gets here and see what we want and what's out.

    We put the exersaucer and the tummy time mat on our registy and then a few toys for the carseat/stroller, but that's it.

    I just registered for a playmat and jumperoo thing. I figured people will prob buy toys as part of their gift kinda like chlothes.

    The only toy type things I register for were rattles and a cute mirror that makes noise and is colorful.  I kept the registry to the basic needs.  I figure I will probably get a few toys anyway as it is an easy/common gift to give at a shower, whether the Mom to Be registered for it or not.

    I registered for an exersaucer, tummy mat and a few things to hang on the car seat but that's about it. I figured we'd figure it out as we go along and as she gets older. I also like getting recommendations so as my friends kids get older, I'm going to see what they say.

    Ok thanks!  I just modified the registry a bit (I love going on there and playing with it - slight obsession).  I just kept it to the basics - jumperoo, bouncy seat, play mat, and some crib and car seat toys.  Next Christmas she'll be 8 months so we can stock up on bigger kid toys then.
