my introduction

Good morning ladies!! I just thought I would introduce myself.

I had my baby girl, Marlee, on December 18th at 5:32 PM. She was 5lbs 12 oz and 18.9 inches long.

I was induced due to Pre-E at 36 weeks exactly.

She is currently in the NICU on a CPAP machine. We'll actually know more this morning about her lung condition b/c she just got an X-Ray.

Welcome.  I'm sorry you have to join us, but it's a very supportive and wonderful group for me, and I hope you feel just as supported as I do here.

Marlee is a sweetie pie...  she's so pretty!

Hopefully she'll be home with you soon.  It's a frustrating journey in the NICU, but please feel free to share any and all updates with us, no matter how small it seems to be.  Also, feel free to vent your frustrations and anything else...

Congrats on Marlee! We had CPAP, then intubation to get surfactant, and back to CPAP in the first 5 days. Everything after that was simple till we were discharged. GL with everything and as others said, we're here for support.

Thank you so much. This (almost) 48 hours has been the hardest of my life. It feels like it's been weeks. I'm really glad that I will be able to come here and ask questions and vent about all of this. Thank you ladies!!
