I sat down to work on her baby book this afternoon and laughed when I got to:

I was only ______ days old when I came home.

It sort of loses something when you fill in the blank with 109...

yea, and I wouldn't recommend jumping ahead to the milestones sections!  I haven't even filled in Sophie's book yet.  Someone had given us a 1st year calendar, and its blank so it can be used for any year.  It comes with stickers for the milestones, and I just used that.

yes me too..It's just another reminder of a new reality and just how much is taken for granted!! but in the end we're blessed because they did come home even if it did take a long time!
