I had posted a caringbridge link about a little 5yr old girl in our community (my bff's son went to preschool with her). She has leukemia....and she has fought hard but is going down hill and going to die.

I have never met her, but omg.....I am so sad. I cried reading her update and squeezed my boy pretty tight. 

Hug your babies a little extra tonight, between this and Riv's dh.....life just doesn't seem fair sometimes. I am so blessed.

I've been feeling very, very, very thankful/blessed this holiday season.

I've heard so much bad news about so many good people. You're right, it just doesn't seem fair.

I just saw the same update on the Caring Bridge page.  So sad for her and her family.  Cancer sucks!
