I will admit that I am a little hormonal, but that article made me cry. What a great boost for micro-preemie mamas! Nobody found me articles like that when I had my DD, because I guess there is more out there on the obstacles and challenges. Thanks for sharing! I am posting this to my facebook wall!

You are welcome! I have to admit that all the talk about 25 weekers "gets my goat" because I have 25 weekers and I am watching these babies beat the odds that were stacked against them. If the story of prematurity is really going to be told, then this side must be included as well.
I remember when that issue came out (months ago). I was standing in line at CVS and saw it by the registers. I picked it up to flip through it while I was waiting and started crying right there in the store.
As the Mom of a 24 weeker who has glasses I was very taken by Chris' story. It gives me hope. If wearing glasses is the worst thing that happens to my 24 weeker than our prayers were definitely answered. I was willing to accept anything (physical handicap, learning disabilities, etc.) as long as he survived, but I never expected a miracle.
