"How are you feeling?" Is that the only question people ask a person who is pregnant? I am asked this every.single.day. I always say the same answer too.
People just want to be supportive. I think it's thoughtful. I don't need or expect it but it's appreciated when someone takes a moment to take an interest. Wait until you're big as a house. People ask AND touch...
YES!!! I am so tempted to be like "I feel like crud. . ya know from all the puking, the leaking the internal kicking" But other than that im great" LOL
I get this question every day at work. It's funny because my response is always "I'm fine, how are you?" This is so not what people want to hear. They want details. It's getting a little old, but I know they are just interested and excited about baby.
It does get tiring, but like pp's said, it's a support think, so I'm trying to be patient.
I've been showing for about a month now, and at work, I've only gotten a couple of belly pats. But what creeps me out more is when people stare at my belly! I know I'm showing really early but I'm not a freak or disfigured! I wonder what would happen if I started staring at theirs back. lol

I work with the public and Strangers ask me every day. The annoying part is that you really want to say "Im tired, constipated, and being kicked in the bladder every five seconds" but instead you have to say over and over again "Im wonderful!" Because nobody wants to hear the grumpy pregnant lady, they want the super excited healthy one.
I don't mind it at all! It's nice to know that people worry that I'm not feeling well. I'm usually the care-giver, so it's nice to be the care-reciever for a change.
I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. 1Samuel 1:27
or wait until people just touch without asking! I do get sick of ppl asking how are you feeling, though its not as bad as one of my co-workers asking if I have a big appetite now- I thought what a rude b*tch! I just said "nope" and walked away...

I absolutely HATE this question. haha. My OB gave me the best response to that question. Anytime someone asks, "How are you feeling?" I say, "With my fingers." They give me the strangest look, but they don't ask anymore. It's great!

I DO say this..... Well, practically anyways.
People will ask and I'll say, "Like crap! But ya know, whatever."

Re: Anyone else tired of being asked...
my blog
Trust me, better they ask this than interrogating you about names, working after pg, weight gain, breastfeeding vs bottle, etc...
That being said, I agree. It is annoying.
It may be annoying you to you, but think of how annoying it would be if no one ever asked how you were feeling.
It's a support thing. Be grateful you have it.
Yeah... It does get tiring.
I agree with other poster, too - I hate everyone that must touch and rub the belly. I am not Buddah!

*raises hand*
although last weekend it was followed by "how are you doing with the weight gain, are you on track?" WTF?
This, I'm tired of being asked what our names are! But the how are you feeling question does get old. I tell them every time I feel great.

Um, I have only been asked this once... on facebook.... by someone I barely know.
I keep wondering why my friends and family haven't asked how I'm feeling. Maybe they know that pregnant women get sick of that question, haha!
