I found out my bf in college cheated on me, so after I broke up with him, I checked his email and saw a message he sent to his buddy about getting laid that weekend. It was fairly detailed. I sent it to his entire address book, including his parents, aunt and myself. Then when I got the email, I emailed him and said, "Hey, we're broken up, I no longer care about your sex life, so you can stop emailing me about it."
I had been dating a guy for a couple of months. He treated me great, whent out of his way to do nice things for me, etc., but I wasn't really into him. I ended up meeting someone else, but couldn't bring myself to "break up" with him. So, I just stopped returning his calls/emails. It was a really, really sh*tty thing for me to do and I feel bad about it 6 years later.
I've done this too to a few guys. Don't know why I thought it was better to just to ignore them than break up with them.

And it reminds me of something else I did. I was in a class in high school where we did research on the internet for various things. At the end of the class we'd have time to do whatever. There was this girl who was making one of those free personal websites on Geocities. She'd say her username and password outloud, and then set to work making her website.
I'd go home after school and spend 20 minutes changing it to things like Big Woody's Lumberyard, or Al's "For a good lay" Masonry. I'd fill in phony business info and wait for her reaction the next day in class. After two weeks or so I told her and she got a good laugh out of it.
OMG, that is awesome!
I'm making a mental note to never cross any of you people!
Ok, I seriously am a goody two shoes. This is the best I got...
The house "mom" at my sorority house sucked and was a bit skanky at that. She always had guys over (she was in her late 50s, and the guys were icky) and didn't do anything she was supposed to. A friend of mine and I were sick of it, so after some drinking one night, we thought it would be hilarious to "cheese" their cars. So we went out in the parking lot and threw American cheese slices all over her car, her boyfriend's (which was a Porsche) and a couple of our other sisters who had given us permission (and we did way less on our friends cars). The next day we talked loudly about the crazy drunk frat guys that had run through our parking lot at 3 am. To this day, when I see her we laugh hysterically about that night.

I know. I don't understand why I thought that was the best way to handle it. I'm also embarassed to admit he was not the only one I've done to, although he was probably the one I was most serious with before I did this. Even when I did it, I always wondered how I would feel if I was the one on the other side of the coin....
I had a crush on this guy for all of middle and high school - but he never paid me the time of day. Until I started dating his best friend. We were on spring break together, and the friend and I made out in the bathroom of our hotel - with my bf sleeping in that room.

My ex bf and I had a joint email account back in college. He was all holier than thou super church dude on the outside, but a total jackasss to me, cheated on me, etc. Well, last year I realized that the account was still active and logged in with the same password. Now realize, it has been about 8 years since we were together.
Ex bf and current wife have nekkid pictures on there with craigslist ads for swinging. I may or may not have forwarded them to the entire address book - including parents and pastor. OOPS.

I'm seriously trying to think of something. The best I have is that I bit the upholstery in our Isuzu Trooper when I was little and left teeth marks all over it...wth is wrong with me? lol
I reported him to his commanding officer for homosexual activity on the guard base.
Lori I usually love everything you say and have tons of respect for you but that is really bad.
$5,000. I was 19. And he admitted to doing it, but told me, and all of our friends, that I could never prove it and they'd never do anything to him because he was in the National Guard.
And he was having sex in CH17D helicopters while on duty.

I slept with 3 brothers. At different times, but still.
Not really sure why what I did is worse than what anyone else copped to.
The ramifications of your ratting him out is much further reaching than anything else anyone on here has written.
Gonna reiterate here: HE STOLE $5000 FROM ME. That's a felony. And sex while on duty, in official equipment at that, is dereliction of duty, also a crime.
I wasn't pranking a friend, getting back at an ex, or destroying property. I didn't do what I did secretly. I was open about it. I did something that was entirely legal. I even told him in advance that he should return my money or it would happen. He laughed and said I'd never have the the guts. He learned otherwise.
I still don't think that your reasoning makes what you did OK. You didn't turn him in because you were concerned about him having sex in the helicopter. I'm sure straight military people do that all of the time (I remember the jenni who named her boy Saxton bragged about that at one point). You ruined his career (or tried to?) to get revenge and that is pretty crappy. Then again, he stole 5k from you, so who knows.

Wow, seriously?
People in this thread confessed to stuff they could go to jail for. I reported an illegal activity, after I warned the SOB in advance and gave him a fair chance to make things right. If I had him arrested for grand theft instead, he would have definitely lost his career. They don't let you out of jail to do your National Guard weekends.
Okay this is what I was going to do one night until you ladies called me BSC and I didn't follow through.
My sister's H cheated on her with another soccer mom who was also married and had kids. I wanted to see what was so great about her so I looked her up on FB, saved one of the tiny pics of one of her friends that popped up and made a fake account with the friend's name. I added her and told her my normal account was acting up and pretended to be that random friend. She totally bought it, and I was going to plaster her FB page with lots of obscene things and basically call her out and say what a big slut she was... she's all very religious and teaches the little kids at church, etc.
It seriously took everything in me not to. She laughed in my sister's face when she confronted her about the affair, and I was just really upset. I ended up deleting the account, well you can't delete, but I deleted the friend's photo and changed the name to "sarah smith" so she ended up defriending me so I am no longer tempted.
I later told my sis about it and she said she loved me and that I was a genius. She also asked if I still had the account with a curious face, LOL.
But yeah, I guess I did the right thing... but I REALLY wanted to be mean.
I did too. The worst part is, I don't feel bad about it. I was crushing on the guy for months and didn't know the girl at all. Oh, geez, I am going to get flamed to high heaven for this!
That's not what I consider the meanest thing I've ever done, though. That happened when I was in 9th grade. We were playing softball in gym, and I was flirting with this guy, We were on opposite teams, and when my team was up to bat, the guy asked if he could have my glove. Kidding around I said no and went to hand it to this really shy, unpopular girl. Then I said "Just kidding", and gave it to the guy.
I know that doesn't sound like much, but I feel badly about that to this day, nearly 15 years later. I was really unpopular too, and know what being picked on is like, but I did it anyway just to tease some guy. I suck.
Proud mom to Jeremy (10/24/08) and Gabriel (4/25/11)
I'm normally a pretty nice person so I still feel bad about this to this day...
We had a very weird/annoying friend in HS and her mother was even wackier. We were making a video for my friend's class and we had to laugh so we started cracking jokes about this girl AB and her mom's crazy stories (like her ring getting stuck in a shopping cart and then the cart being stuck to a truck and consequently was pulled around the shopping cart!!??). You couldn't hear what we were saying, just saw us cracking up.
Fast forward, we were watching the video at my friend's house with said girl and I burst out ha ha we were making fun of AB. She was like what-what?
OMG I was mortified and I felt so bad about it. She stayed friends with us till the end of the school year, I can't imagine why. Ugh, thinking about it still makes me feel like crap.
OMG some of these responses are totally cracking me up! Some of these make me feel totally evil too, if that's really the worst thing you've done..
Is it sad that I have to think about which is worse and I want to post about.. eek..
A good friend of mine in college (there were 3 of us living together, my BFF from HS, and this other girl who was our friend). Well, we had just signed a lease on an apt for a year and this "friend" decided she was going to move in with her loser BF. She basically completely stopped hanging out with us and would just show up to pick up clothes or pay the rent. After a month, she found us a new roommate who we had never met and had the girl move in!
BFF and I were pissed! We were drunk one night and while I was peeing, my BFF came in the bathroom and we decided to pee in former "friend's" shampoo and conditioner bottle. Then my BFF scrubbed the toilet with her toothbrush. I did nothing to stop that...
After a month of living with this new roommate who we just felt awkward around (and who wasn't on the lease anyway), we told her we didn't want her living there and had a friend move in. Felt bad about that because she was new in town, but we did give her a month to move out! It was just a whole weird situation.
Oh yeah, and I also cheated on all my BFs except for DH. I was a bit of a partier in college. A little too much.
CP 3/07 BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09. TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen. BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy. BFP 11/14
I am a prude too because I was surprised at the number of posts about having sex with someone else's boyfriend or cheating. Let me go back to my puppies and rainbows world of trust in a relationship.
Ease up on Lori seriously! The guy was her "friend" and stold $5,000. That is total BS.
I made out with some random guy at my bachelorette party. He was a total nerd, I was drunk and grabbed him and said "do you want to be the last guy I ever make out with besides my husband". It was stupid and I feel like an idiot. I would never cheat on DH, I don't know why I did that. For the record I told him the next day. He wasn't happy, but here we are 6 years later.
In college I was a tramp. I drank too much and slept with a few friends bfs.

See, I see it differently. She turned in someone who was doing something that LOTS and LOTS do. All the time. She didn't turn him in for stealing. She turned him in for doing something that is VERY much frowned upon (isn't it a "don't ask and don't tell" police? and in some instances, is it not a way to get someone killed? You took your issue of the $5K and made it MUCH bigger than that.
If you knew he stole it and other people did too, you should have turned him in with those witnesses and testimonies. He likely would have been kicked out for that too. But you didn't. You may have also made the stereotype for a gay soldier worse. Smart.

Maybe I am stupid and just don't see the difference. I have no experience with the military or being gay in the military so it is not really hitting me the same way. I am taking it you have a personal experience that is bothering you. I agree if she was going to turn him in, maybe it should have been for the money, not for being gay. I am so dumb on the subject I didn't know you could actually get kicked out for being gay. I knew it was don't ask, don't tell but WOW! So I wonder if Lori told that he was gay or told that he was having sex? Would you be as bothered if he was having sex with a woman and she told on him for that? Sorry I just don't see it.
Oh and seriously none of us are perfect, we have all made mistakes and this was SUPPOSED to be a fun thing to do. YOU just made it not so fun!

Ok, I just remembered one more. I don't know how I forgot about this.
6-7 years ago I had a boyfriend who cheated on me. Not only did he cheat on me, but about a month after our break up he sends me an email saying "You may want to get checked out...I went to the dr. to have a bump looked at and tested positive for herpes. Just a head's up" I was so p!ssed! (Turns out I was clean, thank god) So later I remembered I still had his email password. I logged in and started snooping around, and in his "sent" file I saw that he sent the exact same email to 4 other girls!!!!! Yuck! I thought, good lord how many have you been sleeping with?? So...I forwarded that same email from his account to everyone in his address book. It included his parents, other relatives, and coworkers That's probably the worst thing I've ever done.

I wasn't the first to comment. There was a line that was crossed. People in the military are VERY aware of what is accepted and what isn't. I wouldn't even be so concerned if he got kicked out for having sex, regardless of who it was with. My concern more lies in the abuses that come with being homosexual in the military. It's awful. I don't have personal experience in this at all. I'm just a regular ol' citizen of Canada. I'd love to hear the whole story of how this went down and the repercussions as they really happened. But I digress.

I would also like to know how it went down. I just can't imagine someone saying that someone in the military is gay and them being kicked out just because of what someone said. I would think that they would have to see them doing something that wasn't accepted and I totally agree the policy is awful. If someone wants to join the military that is their right no matter what sexuality they are, but I also think having sex in a military aircraft is not cool.

Ok, here's my story - and guess what - this story also has a really not-nice thing done to me! I dated a guy for about 2.5 years and cheated on him constantly in the last year - awful of me, but I was too dependent on the guy to really let go. Anyway, we eventually broke up and I started seeing someone else...but then I was still also...ahem, "seeing" exBF on the side. ExBF knew, newBF didn't.
Well, after a few weeks, exBF got pissed about the situation and hacked into my email account. He found newBF's email address and basically sent him an email saying "Hey, what were you doing last Sunday? Because I was doing your girlfriend." Yep, ouch. NewBF called me every name in the book and broke up with me, I called exBF every name in the book and I stopped talking him for a couple months. Er...and then a few months later I was back to dating both of them casually, plus one other guy. I was such a ho (who obviously didn't learn her lesson at the time).

It included his parents, other relatives, and coworkers
That's probably the worst thing I've ever done.
I have cheated on every single BF except DH.
