zantac experiences?

i'm wondering your experiences with it... how fast did it start working for DC? what happens if they miss a dose - rough night, or does it not have an obvious effect if a single dose is missed? trying to determine if the zantac is really helping DD (6mo) or if its maybe another factor helping her sleep better.

Both of my twins had reflux and both were on zantac and prevacid.  It took a few days to notice a difference.  We didn't really miss doses so I don't know about that.
