How do you organize your pictures?

I'm trying to make a last minute photo book since it seems an etsy seller may have flaked out and won't finish my original gift on time.  Problem is I have all pictures on CD but they aren't labeled great bc I don't always upload the camera monthly to my computer.  Then I have random favorites on scrapblog and shutterfly that I'm trying to find from the same grouping on the CD.

This will be my new years resolution- to be consistent taking, labeling and organizing pictures!

  • I still just have them all on my HD.. I really need to back them up. I just recently organized them month by month.. I still need to unload all the ones from this month.

  • I keep all of mine on an external HD, and the once and a while I upload DD's pictures onto my Shutterfly account.  It seems to work out well, and it's not too time consuming.

Is shutterfly free? Does it have a GB limit? We're having computer "issues" and I'm scared for my pics.

  • Snapfish is my fav (it's free.) But I want to get an external HD VERY soon. For photo safety...but also to free up space on our laptop - it's dragging!

Yep shutterfly is free, and its nice because if you want to do prints you can pick them up at Target.  I don't think there is a limit either.
