c-section...(vent)

Why do people think it is okay to say,"OH! I HATE it when girls have a c-section on their first pregnancy?" Would it be so wrong to reply with, "I hate girls who judge and don't know the reason of why I am having a c-section." It is none of any one's  business why I choose to have one.

The girl who said this hardly knows me. She didn't even know I was pregnant or married till she looked me up on myspace. Who the hell is she to tell me I am making a horrible decision? I am done sharing with people my birth plan. It makes me so mad. Vent over.

    I am now.

  • yeah I hear you people are always like you should have a natural birth and definitly breast feed the baby. well it isnt any of your business so good day. I do agree though if you share your birth story you do open yourself up to peoples opinion but there is no reason to be rude.
  • As long as you do what's best for the baby (babies in your case) ignore her.
  • people are so judgemental. do what you have to do!

  • Yeah some people judge when I say I'm going straight for the c-section on this second pregnancy. The fact is, I went through hell with the first one, DS was too big and I ended up in a c-section. My dr said I'm not a great candidate for a successful vbac and I have no desire to go through what I did the first time. I don't see why anyone really cares! Some people just love to judge!

  • Oh I know! I totally hate when your 1st baby is breech and they make you have a c-sec I should have totlaly tried a breech birth!

people are fkin @ssholes. And often times, stupid. Tell her to shove it.

  • People suck.  When I wanted to go med-free with my first, I heard every opinion under the sun.  Some people thought I was being super woman (not my intention, but thanks) and some people thought I was crazy.  I ended up with a ton of interventions and a c-section due to many complications.  This time around, no one understands why I'd even entertain the thought of a VBAC when I could "just have another c-section."  It's such a PITA.
