Today is my last day of work until January 4th...we are not meeting at the school...my new principal is asking us to meet her at Cracker Barrel where she's treating everyone to breakfast as a Christmas gift! After breakfast we will have the day to ourselves! I am not sure how this was approved but apparently all of the schools are doing something similar...I'm not gonna ask any questions

lucky!!!! This is the time of the year (and summer) where I wish I was a teacher. I'm not off until Christmas eve, but I don't come back til 1/4. They are allowing casual days the rest of the year so that is nice.
I'm just ready for some vaca time!!!
Me too! I am working on grades while my classes are watching Elf today. At least I will be off until January 4th...I can't wait to spend some time with my girl!

After today, I am off until the 28th. I'll work the 28-30 and then be off until Jan 4. We used to get off the 2 full weeks that the rest of AU gets off (well...except for athletics). Now we have to be open at least part of the time. But we get paid double time and a half for any time that we are here while main campus is closed. I'd rather have the time...but they didn't ask me!
