Too popular?

Do you think these names are getting too popular, and the  baby will end up having to be FirstName B. in their class?

Josephine Lillian

We both love Charlotte the most, but I keep hearing it for baby girls lately, even though it's ranked about 84 on SSA...

    I think both have been getting more popular with Charlotte more so than Josephine, but there are so many different nicknames for each that I ultimately wouldn't worry about it.

    I think that Charlotte is more popular than Josephine, but I don't believe that either of them are extremely popular.

    I think Caroline is ranked about the same (84-ish), or at least it was when we named her. Yet I haven't met a kid named Caroline yet, so it can't be that popular. I love Charlotte. Thumbs up.

    Is Josephine popular?? Never hear that one...

    I don't think Josephine is overly popular, but it does happen to be one of my favorite names!  I love Josie for a nn! 

     They are both very cute names! Can't go wrong with either!

    I don't think either name is too popular. Though Charlotte is more popular than Josephine. I love them both. I want to use Charlotte if we have a girl, but DH doesn't want to use it since he has a cousin named Charlotte. Huh?

    Charlotte is currently 87 on the SSA list and Josephine in 208. They're not unheard of, but its not nearly as likely for there to be a second one in her classes as if her name were Olivia or Ava or something in to top 20 or 50. FWIW, Lillian is actually more popular than either of our FN choices at 29.

    Both are nice choices. You really can't go wrong with either, but I prefer Charlotte.

    This. I would be far more concerned with Charlotte than Josephine if you are trying to avoid popular names.
