Blood Test

My doctor scheduled me for a blood test to confirm if I am pregnant, but I do not meet with the doctor.  If you had an appointment just for a blood test, did your husband go with you?  I am not sure if he should come with me or not since we obviously do not get the results at the test.

I just went for 3 blood tests to confirm prenancy and other levels. My husband didn't go to either. It is just a blood test, and you probably won't even see a nurse just the lab people. So unless you get needle nervous, save the husband for the "real" doc appointments. I have heard there will be plenty!

My husband went to all but one of my appts. when I was pregnant, but never went to any of the blood draw ones and the one he skipped was my glucose test one since I had to drink the drink and wait an hour or two before seeing the midwife.  You'll probably just see a tech and be in and out.
