I posted below in the post about quick local processing, and I promised a review. Ritz Camera was the only local place I found that you can upload pics from home and pick them up same day with matte finishing. I tried them...only cost $2 with the coupon code. I got them back today. They are just ok. I was not crazy about the sharpness of the photos (actually, it was disappointing), and they were not completely true to color. I would not have liked them at all if they were a glossy finish, but they were acceptable for inserting in my Christmas cards. If I am in a pinch, I would consider them again, but I still have not found any better processing than mpix.com.
Re: ritzpix.com review
Do you have a Costco membership? We love ours... I feel like the photo lab itself is worth it!!!
That is great! I do have a Costco membership, and I will keep them in mind the next time that I am in a pinch for time. I am totally sold on mpix.com. I have tried and tried to find a competitor, and have not found the same quality ever. I am willing to pay more for their quality unless I need fast turnaround. I have yet to find any processor that can get my pics so true to what I see on my monitor.
