one of my main funding groups is having their Christmas party today. I feel like I should go but honestly, I feel like crap. And it's a sit down turkey dinner (I don't eat turkey). so I'm 75% leaning towards not going, but am feeling really guilty about it.

If they are in charge of funding i would go smooze for a bit then say you are not feeling well and go home.
