31 week appointment...

Technically we are only 30 weeks 5 days, but since it is so close my doctors office always compares me to the next week up (31 weeks). They say I am boring and uneventful (even my overprotctive peri) which is good to me. We are just crossing our fingers that it stays that way till 36 weeks.

Everyone passed their first biophysical profiles (8/8) pretty quickly which we were told was a good sign.

I have a question though... How big did your babies measure when you were 31 weeks? We are trying to compair to other multiple babies.

Caitlin (baby A) is weighing 3lb 13oz... Haley (baby weighs 3lb 6 oz... and Criton (baby C) is weighing in at 4 lbs. I know these are only estimates but I am still curious as to others.

At 30w1d, my boys were:

3 lbs (35th percentile)
3 lbs 15 oz (73rd percentile)
3 lbs 5 oz (51st percentile)

Mine were born at 31.2 weeks they weighed 3.12, 3.15, 3.7. A couple days before they were born we had an ultrasound and they were 4, 4, and 3 1/2...so yeah they can be a tad off. You are doing great!

Pea-kay... That makes me feel better. Mine are pretty close to your numbers and you had really good weights at birth. It's funny the things we focus in on and decide to obsess about (for me it is weight and counting contractions). Even though everyone says we are doing great, I know that can change in the blink of an eye so I am not taking anything for granit.

TripMomma... thank you for the encouragement. Yours look like good birth weights for 31 weekers from what I have seen from a few others.

Were they in NICU long?

A- Xander was 3.12 at birth and came home after 35 days in the NICU

B- Hayden was 3.15 at birth and was home at 26 days old.

C- Lily was 3.7 at birth and came home after 33 days in the NICU.
