Weird symptom...anyone else have a swollen tongue?

I just noticed this past weekend that it feels like my tongue is super swollen in the middle to back part.  Has anyone else experienced this weird symptom?  I don't have much swelling anywhere else, so this through me off guard.  I googled, but couldn't find too much there...

I've had that before, but that is because I have severe allergies; be sure to take some benadryl.

I do. I bit mine the other day because it was swollen, so now it is even worse. Strange.

Are you taking any types of meds....like for nausea or heartburn? One kind, Reglan, does have a side affect that involves the tongue swelling.
