Two Under 2

Chances of working out?

With my first I could easily work out..in the beginning I did early in the morning and and later at his naptime on my days off.  (we have an elliptical in our house)  I also walked alot with him and did the thirty day shred while he watched me....but with two...not sure how it will work.  Any advice?

  • I have been going to the gym two evenings a week and once on the weekend.  DH stays with the boys.  So far, it's been working out well.
  • I do/did the shred at 5:30 AM.

    I basically do it before they get up.

    Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
    Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

  • You might be able to time naps so there's some overlap - most days i have abut 45 mins during the day of overlap.

     

    I'm going to jog with both of them in the jogger, once the little one is big enough.

    This!  If I wait to try to do it during nap time, one of them is almost always up!

  • I was able to do The Shred or ellipitcal before my oldest woke up. My son would get up around 6, have a bottle, then I'd have about an hour to get my workout in.
  • you can do it!  i go to the gym, but when i can't i shred.  i do it during nap time or after they go to bed.
