I am going to host a BBQ/shower for my BF and her hubby. Originally we were going to have a shower for her and diaper party for him, but since alot of their fam lives out of town we are jsut going to do one big party so people dont have to travel twice. Her DH does not want the word shower in the invite so as not to confuse the boys. How might I word it... A Baby celebration? If the registry is lsited at bottom will it be understood to bring gifts?
Re: CO-ed shower/party...
Maybe something like...
The Smiths are having a Baby
Please join us for a Celebration honoring Jane and John
or
Jane and John are having a Baby
Let's Celebrate!
I think registry at the bottom makes perfect sense.
I agree- this!

I agree. If you still want to do the separate things (like baby things for her, diapers for him), it could be like a couple's wedding shower... I had one where guys had to bring tools and gals had to bring a recipe and the serveware/baking dish to make it with. :-) Good luck! Sounds fun!
