DD got 2 months (didn't tolerate well) and DS got 3 months......Feeling guilty about it, but it's hard with the twins plus a toddler (who got 6 months when she was an infant).
SO, I am down to 1-2x/a day ffor 20 min/seesion for the last few days; I forget, do you just stop cold turkey at this point? Or do I need to just continue pumping less time/session?
Re: Hanging up the horns.....
i pumped for 2 months for Griffin (EP'd) and only 4 weeks for the twins- it was way too hard having twins + toddler to deal with pumping... you did a great job!
if you are only doing it 1-2x's a day I'd stop cold turkey now. or go to 10 minutes... then just once/day for a few days for 10 min - then stop. I never had issues drying up - it hurt for a few days- i took a lot of advil and ice packs - didn't lay on my side or stomach, wore loose bras, etc... and in about 4-5 days i was good.
