Hey, I was just getting on to share my exciting news - I am dilated 1 whole cm! Yay!! While I know this is nothing and that many people walk around for weeks dilating, I finally feel like my body is doing something right! The doctor stripped my membranes as well. Regardless, we check in to the hospital tomorrow night to start the cervadil and then see where I'm at Wednesday morning and if I need the Pitocin.
So, I suppose I could go into labor on my own before that or my water could break, although it probably isn't likely. I'm still hoping that the cervadil alone will work Tuesday night, but we'll probably have to do Pitocin - hopefully it won't be too bad.
We also had our biophysical profile and scan done on Saturday at the hospital. She scored an 8/8, we watched her practice breathing, and everything looked good. Her femurs are still a little short (measuring 35 wks) but they reassured me that I shouldn't have anything to worry about, that they're just expecting her to be around 6 pounds.
How are you doing? I guess your DH is home again, right? Still cramping?
