We currently use Pampers but I noticed at BJ's that their brand is $16 less and has more diapers than Pampers. I haven't checked Costco yet. I really like Pampers. We have tried Huggies and I hated them.
I use Costco (Kirkland) brand diapers and LOVE 'EM! DS blew out of every other diaper I tried, several different Pampers, Huggies, Luvs, Kroger, cloth, all of them. But not Costco diaps! Unfortunately they seem to be almost equal in price to Pampers for us, but that's OK, they work and they work well, I am good with that.
Costco diapers are essentially Huggies. They're the same design. I don't have luck with Huggies and I don't have luck with Costco's diapers either. I wish I did though, it'd be cheaper, but with my kids, it was either Pampers or Luvs (Luvs is essentially Pampers.)
I haven't tried either of those, but I just wanted to say that until a few months ago, I had only used Pampers on Ben (first Swaddlers and then Baby Dry). I decided to try Luvs (which sucked!) and I posted about it. Quite a few ladies raved about Target's Up & Up diapers. I was hesitant, but I tried them. I love them. They are just as absorbent as Baby Dry and they actually have better coverage on the sides than Baby Dry does. And for a box of 60, they are a full $5 less. Plus, a $2 coupon prints out at the register almost every time I buy a new box. Just wanted to throw that option out there.
I have been told that Kirkland brand diapers are actually made by Huggies. Kirkland just slaps their label on it.. which makes total sense because they are the exact same diaper as huggies, only they have monkeys instead of the other character.
We used kirkland brand and have had no problems. We also just switched to cloth diapers last friday.
Also... for the record, our lactation nurse told us that kirkland brand formula is actually made by enfamil... so we also use kirkland formula. My friend told me that if costco only carries 1 brand of something, say ball park hot dogs, and then they have kirkland brand hot dogs, most likely, the kirkland brand are also the ball park hot dogs.
I swear by Costco diapers. Out of all the diapers I used, these were by far the best. Though, I cannot quote the price because my dad bought them for Pearl. We do not have a Costco close to our home.
