If DD1 was a boy her name was going to be Julian Andrew. DD2 was going to be Aiden Vincent. Now that I am actually having a boy... I don't have a concrete name.

Aiden is over used now so I am not going to use it, Julian I still like but I don't want him getting the nn Juls. Grrrr What do you think the chances are of him getting that NN?

I think of Jules as a nn for a girl...Julia.   I would think Ian would be a cute nn for Julian.

The chances will be zero if you tell everyone his name is Julian and correct anyone who calles him Juls.

I dont associate Julian with the nn Jules... I dont think he would get it as long as you corrected whoever said it immediately...

I have an ex named Julian and EVERYONE called him Jules, whether he liked it or not. He also got Jooligan (like hooligan) a lot. I think there's no avoiding Jules with the name Julian. That being said, I kind of like the nn Jules, even for a boy!

Why not Andrew or Vincent? Both are great names!

Julian is nms, it sounds too feminine for a boy IMHO.

I like Andrew best of all your names followed by Vincent. Aidan is too popular like you said, and I'm pretty sure Julian will get Juls at some point if not by accident shortening by his friends.....
