Our last name is one syllable and have several options for one syllable first names....I think its ok as long as the middle name has multiple syllables...thoughts?
Just make sure it sounds good with your last name, because often those in that situation are called by their first and last names instead of just their first.

This made me smile because I knew a girl named Jane Han and we almost always called her Jane Han.
I think having a one syllable name for first and last is fine.
That said, using a middle name to "balance" it out doesn't make much sense when most people are called by only their first & last.
Ditto this.
We have 1 syllable first names on our list with our 1 syllable last name. As long as the names don't blend together together to form a word or sentence (Reed Moore), it should be fine.

Re: one syllable first and last name?
My husband loves short, choppy names with our 1 syllable last night. I think its kind of cool.
I agree. I don't think anyone would even give it a second thought. I never do.
its fine

IMO there's nothing wrong with one-syllable first & last names. But, DH & my MIL are both very much against it -- my married name is one-syllable.
