Mucus Plug...when did you go in labor?

Ok this morning I lost my mucus plug and have had period like cramps since then. The cramps are not consistent and don't hurt bad.

M question is, are there any women on here that lost their mucus plug and not in labor yet?

I lost mine in pieces starting 2 weeks before I went into labor.  Hopefully your cramps turn into something more!

I lost mine on Tuesday and labor doesn't seem to be anywhere near. From what I've read and been told you can lose your mucos plug at pretty much anytime (later in pregnancy) and it doesn't mean much. It can also regenerate and you can lose it more then once. After I lost mine on Tuesday I had the period cramps and back ache and was really hoping it meant something but it didn't you are further along then I am though so maybe it could mean something, lot's of labor dust your way!

Some people lose their weeks ahead of time.  But considering you're 41 wks pregnant....chances are this is a good sign ;D  Good luck!

I lost the part of mine a week ago yesterday, more on Mon, and more yesterday.   Obviously not in labor.  ; p  Sorry, maybe you'll have better luck!

Mine came out in pieces over the last week or so. As of Thursday I'm dilated to 3cm, 60% effaced, and baby is at 0 station. Hopefully active labor comes soon for me!

I think I may have started losing mine in chunks, which seems to have occured as a result of an internal exam on Wed. Last night I was also having menstrual like cramps, but they eventually stopped. At my last appointment I was 2-3 cm, 70% effaced and 0 station. I'm almost 38 weeks and hoping something happens soon - otherwise I am being induced on the 2st at 39 weeks.
