I saw in the post below that you are making fondue in the crockpot.... mind sharing your recipe? I never thought to use a crockpot! I actually have a fondue pot, but I lost the electrical plug for it. I want to make fondue for a Christmas party I'm hosting with my girlfriends and have been tearing apart my house looking for the darn plug!

    Well I've never done it before, so proceed with caution. I read online that it's just 1 cup or heavy cream (or evaporated milk) to 12oz of chocolate. Then you can add a dash of liquor if you'd like. You dump the chocolate in the crockpot. Get the cream to a boil (not scalded) on the stove and then pour it over  the chocolate to melt it.

    I got evap milk and a couple Ghiradelli  & Hershey bars. My crockpot has a "keep warm" setting- so I'll use that.
