  • I soooo wish ds's school offered any sort of scholarship or financial aid at all.
  • I normally don't like to quote money on here, but you got me curious, how much are you talking?

     Ok, hold up.

I thought we were talking about 25 - 30K and upwards.  I would totally pay 10K for 4 days.  Especially since you dont pay any other daycare, right?  That is significantly less than we pay for daycare which, granted, is full time, but still.

OK, I was starting to wonder if you were talking $50k!

  • we turned down that option. My MIL is affiliated with a very high-end private on the Upper East Side that she wants S to go to. that's in the 35K range.   we definitely won't do that.

    this school is between 10-12K.

  • college scholarships?  heck yeah!  but MH and I are happy we're getting in the hang of budgeting tuition now.
  • Okay, I was definitely assuming Manhattan prices.  The cheapest by far up here is well more than half that!  I think I know which school you mean and I amend my answer... for that price yes!  I figured they'd be 20K minimum!  My sister went there for K&1 and my mom regretted moving to LS and pulling her out because it was such a wonderful school!
