I had monitoring today (ultrasound only) and after some humming and haahhhing my RE decided that I should trigger tomorrow night.
After I left the appointment I started to get really crampy, like I may ovulate. I took an OPK and it is positive.
I called my RE to see what I should because I don't want to ovulate on my own before tomorrow night and I'm stressing.
Is it too late to trigger if I am already surging on my own? If I don't trigger will only one egg release (I have three follies)?
Thanks ladies.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
No, just ultrasound.
Hmmm - did they do bloodwork yesterday? They should be following your E2 and LH levels every day at this point.
I would ask the RE to check LH today. I think you could trigger today if you are indeed surging, but I don't know that as 100% fact. Some REs will give an antagonist urgently to try to stop a natural LH surge. So it seems that there might be something you could do if you knew you were surging.
It sounds like this is one of those times that you need to loudly advocate for yourself. Insist on bloodwork!
Good luck.
