I believe we were promised a recap? I see you put pics on FB.. you must be feeling more concious. I felt bad for you yesterday, but now your pics are making me jealous. LOL.

I decided to just suck it up and go, obviously

We boarded the plane on time but b/c winds increased we were stuck on the runway for about an hour. Take off was REALLY scary, like a lot of swaying back and forth/bouncing. 

MIL ordered us Limo service for the day and we had a really nice Yukon to drive us. The man barely spoke English but it was nice to be out of the cold wind. We basically just walked around and shopped.

Positives: Rockefeller tree (we got to see a guy propose and it was just so sweet), shopping for purses on canal street was an adventure, food in little italy was delicious

Negatives: Everywhere was SUPER crowded, the wind was freezing, MIL did NOT pay for food as I have come to expect her to in the last 5 years- so that was a blow to my budget,  we spent an hour driving around for a Lane Bryant for GMIL even though there is one 1/2 a mile from my house, We went up 8 floors and waited in line to see Santa and I look 300lbs in the picture, I got stuck with my large framed SIL both ways on the plane who slept on me and insisted on taking off her huge ugg boots and laughing b/c her feet smelled so bad, we ate a huge late lunch w. wine and after that I was just exhausted and ready to go home (4pm), our flight home was delayed and I didn't get into bed until almost 3am.

SO glad to be home in the "burbs" with my little man

HAHA.. I am seriously cracking up about your "large framed" SIL with her smelly feet..
