Saw your comment about Christmas and Hanukkah-- so are we, and the amount of crap we bought is INSANE.  And we're buying more tonight.  Yuck.

I think Hanukkah is what really puts it over the top-- because even if you buy reasonably small gifts, 8 nights = a LOT of presents.

Tonight they're opening super hero crap-- what about you?

    I know - it's nuts. just nuts. we didn't buy anything for him for Chanukah bc my mom bought eight gifts already. I have NO idea what is in them; she numbered them. I think tonight might be a Lite Bright? Super hero crap does sound fun!

    and it's funny bc tonight we'll be lighting the tree and...the menorah...

    hey, maybe I'll make a pork loin for dinner and really reserve my spot in hell ;)
