NPR- what to make with lasagna

Christmas eve we are all getting together at my SIL and BIL's house to exchange presents, SIL is making lasagna and garlic bread, I would like to make something and take along, but I'm not sure what, any ideas?? I usually make a salad to go with lasagna, but DH and I are the only "salad eaters" that will be there.

I usually do salad too!  How about green beans with slivered almonds?

Meatballs?  We are doing baked ziti on Christmas Eve and my mom is bringing meatballs.  If you were thinking an appetizer what about fress mozzarella with tomatoes?

Roasted veggies?

Stuff like zucchini, onions, peppers, cherry tomatoes, etc to stick with the Italian theme. Toss with garlic and olive oil, and maybe a little thyme.

Well, I was going to say bring a nice green salad, but I guess that's out. Hmm, what about a fruit salad? I'm not sure which fruits are in season right now, but that sounds like something people would eat.

How about you bring Tiramisu for dessert?  Lasagna is sort of a stand alone dish unless it's salad.  Or you're my family and treat it as an appetizer.
