I LOVE the name Audrey...however I have a friend that I do not see often...maybe a few times a year and she has a DD named Audrey.  Would you still consider using the name, or would you cross it off since a friend already used it?  I just don't want it to be weird like.."hey why did you use my daughter's name?"

Do it - my best friend when I was little and I had the same name and we thought it was awesome.

Plus if you LOVE it then I wouldn't think twice.

My mom and two of her close friends have sons name Matthews, and two have daughters named Michelle.

My husband has a cousin name Michael that lives a few blocks away.

Yes, we're in almost the same situation.  I see this particular friend maybe once every 2 years because of where we live, and the name has been a favorite of mine since before I met her anyway, so we're going to go for it.  You should too!

Audrey is our phantom baby girl name, and the whole world could start using it and I wouldnt change my mind.  I'm not big on the super popular names, but that is non-negotiable for me.
