can you get pg on Lupron?

I started the Lupron therapy in October. I took the 3 month shot and my RE said not to worry about getting pg because of my Endo. ( I was given less than 5% chance to conceive without IVF) He said if I do get pg, not to worry, but I have read info that said do not get pg on Lupron. Fast forward to now, I am having some symptoms that I am afraid could be pregnancy related, but maybe Lupron related. My boobs are so sore I can't wear a bra, frequent urination, and pains in my lower back. I've also had some cramping on and off.

Is is possible to get pg? I'm too scared to test.  I don't think I ovulated because I usually get severe ovulation pains, and I haven't had any.

I hope these are Lupron side effects. I will make sure we use protection moving forward after reading the info on google.

You are less likely to become pregnant, but you can. When I was on Lupron Depot for six months (2 injects) my OB/GYN instructed us to use condoms.

They told me the same thing.  I think my RE told me that 30% of women ovulate while on Lupron.

Thanks girls! I left a message for my RE. I'm pretty freaked out right now, but I'm sure I probably not pg. Moving forward I will be very careful and use condoms. I'm going to get some pg tests. If I am pg I know it won't be a good thing because of the risks that read that Lupron can cause. I should have read this information earlier. I need to be better at being my own avocate

Take a deep breathe and try not to worry.  The symptoms could be from the Lupron, but either way I would take a PG test to confirm.  My RE's office was very straight forward that we had to use protection while on Lupron due to increased risk of birth defects if we were to get PG while on taking Lupron.  If you are pregnant, you need to stop taking Lupron immediatly.

Sorry, I don't mean to freak you out but I also didn't want to respond in a manner suggesting that it was something to be taken lightly.

Yes, you can become pregnant on Lupron. During the cycle when I started Lupron for my IVF cycle the RE gave us strict instructions to use barrier contraception just in case.
