Just curious what people do here as well...I've been doing a load or two every couple of days but I'm thinking of switiching to having one day be "laundry" day and just do it all on that day....
what do you do?

We do it as the baskets get full, which ends up being a load or two every 2-3 days. If I had to do 4+ loads on one day, I wouldn't be very happy. Even though DH does a lot of the laundry, he doesn't fold, and that's the worst part! I hate folding laundry.
DH does his own laundry bc he claims I shrunk his clothes when we were first together. (nevermind the 30+ pounds he gained....clearly the clothes not fitting is my fault, haha). But whatever, less work for me. But he does his like twice a month, it is rediculous. Bins of clothes in the basement, ugh.
I do mine and the babies as soon as I have a load. I do them together since I use the All Free and Clear. Depending on how many baths she had recently, sometimes 2 loads. But I usually do laundry a few times a week. I don't let it go long since I don't have many clothes that fit me for work
We just moved Evan's room downstairs - but the laundry is right below him in the basement. So we're going from 1-2 a weeks to once a day (if we have it) because we have to go around his nap times now.
Which actually is a good thing....I hate a whole day of laundry too.
I prob do laundry every other day. It piles up really fast, even when I had just one baby. As soon as you start adding stuff ilke cloth diapers, burp cloths, and onsies that get spit up or blowouts on, it gets out of control!
I don't have any prob finding stuff to wash though.. like if I need to "make" a load so I can wash a few small things, I grab towels or change sheets, grab the hand towels, dish towels, etc.
I do DS's laundry once or twice a week, depending on how quickly his hamper fills up. I do my clothes once a week, towels/sheets whenever I have a full load. DH does his own laundry, so I don't worry about him.
I do Eva's and my laundry on Mondays and then sheets, towels and rugs on Tuesdays. DH is on his own! I find if I schedule it early in the week I am more likely to get it done.
I do it on a as needed basis. Probably a load or 2 every few days. Gosh, if I only did laundry once a week it would be an ALL DAY affair... like 8am to 10pm! And we would have no clean underwear or towels!!
Speaking of laundry, I need to go fold and switch over a load right now before Evan wakes up from his nap!
We usually do ours on the weekend. I think it's more energy efficient to do a full load than smaller loads throughout the week. Of course we will do small loads if we need something in particular. And I'm guessing things will change when the baby is here.

Before Evan, we used to do a couple loads about twice a week. Now, I find that I am doing a load or two every other day. It seems to pile up with the LO.
Re: Laundry- Everyday or once a week?
I do laundry on an as-needed basis.
It usually ends up being every other day or so, especially with the diapers.
