I think I will be making hamburger helper tonight (cheesy lasagna). Not the healthiest, maybe, but quick and easy. Throw some veggies with it and you are all set!
Earlier in the week I made cheesy potato soup. Was delicious and make a few nights worth of suppers. I did this with chili last week too.
Mainly because I am exhausted by the time I get home from work and just really would rather warm something up than have to cook.
I did it with lasagna a few weeks ago too and froze some of it.
Tonight we're having breakfast for dinner. Quick and easy.
My urge to cook has been crazy. With how hungry I am and all my cravings I am making it my time to make DH try all the food I like but hes to picky to try. I just say I was craving it so I made it, thus hes stuck eating it lol. Tonight its chicken cooked in Italian dressing and 3 cheese mac and cheese.
tonight is steak night! which is good b/c that means I only have to prepare the sides... DH will work the grill. hopefully I can stay awake long enough to mash the potatoes.................
Last night was chilli with cornbread, tonight I think it's gonna be grilled pork chops with green beans and mashed potatoes. I am dying for 'comfort foods' and trying desperately not to go calorie nuts with them!
We are taking DH's mom out to dinner tonight for her birthday. We're going to Applebees and I keep looking at the menu online trying to decide what to get but it changes every hour.
I was inspired to cook for real last night, so we're having the leftovers tonight. Flank steak with spicy rub, mashed potatoes and roasted baby carrots. Yum!

tonight-- going to Taco Bell (chili cheese burrito!) and then to the movies with a friend. WOOHOO! I'm excited.
OMG. I love T Bell's Chili Cheese Burritos. Although not the healthiest but who cares when they taste so good!
LOL! I don't think there's anything healthy on their menu. All in moderation. I'll be having TWO tonight. LOL, or maybe a taco salad and 1 burrito...we'll see.
Re: WFD
something easy, quick, and healthy... a layered dip
refried beans on the bottom, then layer sour ceam, lettuce, tomato, cheese.. maybe some salsa and olives. whatever you like!
I have been feeling the same way! I think pasta for tonight and I am going to try and make home made chicken soup as well!
