can someone please explain to me what/where the "tightline" is on your eye and Lower water line???
does tightline mean right against your top lashes??
and lower water line is that the lower "inside" like on the smoother part of your lower lashes??
I need to get back into putting some effort into myself and wearing make up again, but I can't seem to be able to get it to look good anymore. I use to wear make up all the time before I had kids and now 4 years later it's like i forget how.
Re: S/O-make up girls- tightline? Lower water line??
The lower water line is the area above your lashes - I pull my under eye area down, and use a pencil to rub it along the waterline.
This is tightlining - I love it, b/c it defines and makes the eye pop w/out showing too much eyeliner.

This is what I gleaned from google (having never heard these terms before)
The water line on either upper or lower lid is a mucous membrane close to your eye, if you are not good at "tightlining" you will get makeup on your water line and cause your eyes to tear/irritate.
Tightlining is applying liner to the "eye side" of your lashes (rather than the "lid side") It makes your lashes look fuller, but takes a steadier hand.
