DH & I moved back to OC 6 months ago and the economy is so bad that he hasn't been able to find a job yet.

DD is 4 weeks old and I seriously cannot put her down without her crying two seconds later. I'd like to be able to wear her so I can attempt to help DH look for jobs online and get stuff done around the house to take some of the burden off of him.

My point...I simply can't afford to buy the Moby and I hear that's the best wrap for wearing her and getting stuff done. I know it's a long shot and I feel silly for even asking, but does anyone have an extra one they don't want anymore that I could have?

you can make one. There are all kinds of tutorials online. It is a big long piece of fabric and you can easily make one from what I have heard. Search youtube. HTH!

 It really can't get any easier to make. The hard part is putting it on, I have the actual Moby and have had to practice with my niece.
