BOB Stroller

I'm thinking of going with the BOB Revolution, but I was wondering at what age is it safe to jog with your baby?  Jogging very lightly mixed with walking.  They say 8 months to run or go off -road and 8 weeks to walk.  Anyone know? Thanks!

Re: BOB Stroller

  • We're getting a Bob too. I think the manufacturer technically says after 6 months, but I personally would wait longer. Might be a good question to ask your pediatrician?

  • I've heard 7-8 months but plan on asking my pediatrician as well. We bought the BOB and are going to get the infant car seat adapter but you still can't use this to jog because it changes the center of gravity.
  • we are really interested in the BOB too. I love it!

I was going to ask pedi too once we are matched.

  • I have this stroller but can't remember when the recommended age begins.  All I know is I started BEFORE the recommended age.  I checked with my pediatrician, placed an infant head support in the seat (the removable kind you can use in a carseat), and off we went.  I did very light jogging/walking on a paved path and it all worked out just fine.
  • I have a Revolution that I love so much we are keeping our single and getting the dualie. I think BOB reccomends waiting until the baby has excellent head control or 6 months before using it as a jogger. You can walk with it right away though. They reccomend waiting until 8 weeks to use it, but the stroller reclines enough for even tiny babies. Or you can use the infant adapter and use your carseat for walks.
  • I LOVE my BOB revolution!  I used it for running around 8 or 9 months.  My son was born in November, so I had to wait a while to use it outside.
