Wine drinkers

We "may" be going to a party next week with a group of people I met through Hospice after my mom passed away. The host just told us to bring ourselves.

They are all BIG wine drinkers. They pull out the good stuff usually for these GTG's. I'd like to bring a good bottle, but not something that is going to break me.

So, what's good? I know there are a few that are into reds, but I think the host likes white wines.

TIA!

Re: Wine drinkers

  • How nice is nice?  I'm a yellow tail type drinker so my nice, may not be that "nice", but I get a Santa Margarita Pinor Grigio that everyone seems to like.  It's about $20 or something from Costco - more in the wine/liquor store.
  • Estancia makes good chardonnay and a decent merlot. It won't break the bank.

  • Loading the player...
  • I'm a WA wine lover.  We make great ones.  So, I'd go with Columbia.
  • ~$75  Cakebread Cabernet

    ~$50  Jordan Cabernet

    ~$25  Duckhorn Decoy Merlot

    ~$18  Tapiz Malbec (Argentinia)

    ~$12  Folie a Deux Menage a Trois
