Snow question..actually more of a boots question

The only boots I own are more for fashion, and definitely not the kind that do well in the snow. Therefore, I usually just wear gym shoes when it snows--which I decided I'm tired of because when it snows more than a couple inches the bottom of my pants and my feet get soaked.

So I tell DH I  of inches think I'm gonna buy a pair of snow boots for when it really snows so when I'm standing in it cleaning of my car of playing with DS it's more tolerable.

He BUSTED out laughing at me! He says nobody wears snow boots anymore except old ladies and that they will look stupid with my sweatpants. LOL.

So ladies, who wears snow boots with their sweats?

He is a lunatic.  I have a pair of boots that I wear when I am shoveling snow, playing outside and cleaning off my car.  They are more like rubber boots but for the items above it is NOT about how good you look its about keeping your feet dry.  I have been known to wear them around town if its really snowing but who cares!  My feet are dry.  Check out Wal Mart, that;s where I got mine.  I think they were about 15 bucks and I've had them for 3 years.

I have some uggs that I wear all winter long.

With sweats, jeans, sometimes at work if it's really cold that day.

Thank you! At least I know I'm not crazy. I tried telling him that I'd rather be warm and dry and he just keeps laughing at me!

huh?  What does he wear when he shovels?

I wear snow boots when I shovel and play outside....also when I go out on errands when it is snowy and slushy.  They are actually boys boots.....I fit into the largest boy size and they are much cheaper than women's! 

I really don't think you are suppose to be fashionable when shoveling....are you?
