Does anyone have a link for what to pack in the hospital bag?

Is there anything extra you took to the hospital because you were having twins?

Phone/charger/phine list

Camera/batteries

Going home outfits (2 for each)

Comfortable outfit for myself

pj pants/t-shirts

nursing bra's

socks/ extra undies

A couple sleep sacks (I liked putting my dd in her own clothes while we were in the hospital)

Swaddle blankets

Boppy x 2 or easy 2 nursing pilloew (do I even need to bring these)

Bathroom stuff...hair dryer, straightener, makeup, lotion

Binkies

WHAT AM I MISSING?

  • I used this list along with the list the hospital gave us during a birthing class.

    Happy packing!

  • No link, but here are a few things that I found really useful. We were induced so I liked having movies to watch while we were waiting. I don't remember what they were, but I know that I watched some of them during the late nights where DH was asleep and I couldn't sleep. (Better than the 4 channels that they have at the hospital) Change for vending machines or for snacks in the cafeteria. Hard candy. (It was almost 30 hrs between the time I ate last until I ate again so I needed something to make my mouth not taste nasty. I used jolly ranchers and lifesavers mints.) Also, snacks for you and DH after the birth. I gave birth at 1050pm and of course the cafeteria and gift shop were closed so I couldn't really get anything to eat. Your own slippers or flipflops. If you are induced, maybe some cards or a simple game that can be put on hold if need be. I think that if I would have brought UNO it would have helped some of the time go by faster.
