Well I went back to the doctor this morning for more blood work. I received the call this afternon that wasn't good.
My beta went from 9 last week ( Positive pregnancy test) to a negative number today.
I'm waiting for the doctor to call to discuss next steps.
I knew this could happen but was hopeful that I would get pregnant and stay pregnant.
Now that I have had a few hours to cry and tell family I think I'm ok. I'm thinking about a glass of wine or beer - since I haven't had a drink since Oct.23.
The positive side is that I can get pregnant and that is hopeful to me. We will try again when we get the go ahead.
Good luck to everyone out there TTC!
Carrie
ps. JillAly - I'm thinking of you and hoping all is well with you.
Re: Happy to Sad
I'm so sorry, Carrie. ?I'm?sending you hugs. Good for you for keeping your positive thoughts, and looking forward to trying again.
I'm sorry, Carrie.
I know first hand what you're going through - many of us do.
It's very, very hard.
But you are right - this means you CAN get pregnant.
Fingers crossed that happens again for you, very soon.
(((hugs)))
Oh no!!!! Carrie- I'm so sorry. I'm in tears reading this. I'm glad you were able to get pregnant but I know you wanted this to work so badly. I will be cheering for you for your next round. Did you talk to your RE about what you will do?
My beta didn't double within 48 hours but it was very close (99 to 190) and people keep telling me it's 48-72 hours not just 48 hours which mine was. I am just hoping it gets better but I won't really know more until Thursday when I got back for another beta.

My first thought when I saw the subject line was "Oh no!" I am so sad that you are having to go through this! You have such a wonderful positive attitude, and you're 100% right in the way you're thinking. It can and WILL happen again for you! I am so sorry for your loss. ::hugs::
Oh man...I'm so sad to hear this.
Sorry for your loss.
I hope your doc. give you the green light so that you can try again as soon as you are ready.
