I was actually looking at Dr. Dieterich and am glad to hear good things as well as positive things about St. Jude. I know they have a new maternity floor, how are the rooms, can DH stay??  

 Is Dr. Dieterich pretty up to date with equipment, etc being a one man office? How is it making appointments, etc??

Yes, I guess they're up to date.  I did have one u/s there and it was fine but with his office you get your NT Scan (if you're doing one) and "big" u/s at St. Jude hospital.  All of the blood/labwork is done in his office, so that was nice.  I like his office staff a lot - there's a group of I think three office girls and they're all really nice and helpful.  He has one main nurse and she's really great.  He has a midwife that sees patients in his office one morning a week.  Never went to her but I think it's a nice option.  He told me that he delivers about 95% of his patients and I think it's true as he came in to deliver me at 2am.  Appointments are generally pretty easy to make.  Hope this helps!  Let me know if you have any other questions.
